Shockingly, I'm actually watching other shows besides LoM! Amazing, I know. I just keep forgetting to post anything about them. Mostly because I haven't really been blown away by anything dazzling.

I went into my thoughts on the "Ghostfacers" episode of Supernatural in this comment thread over here. Now we're caught up on the latest and ... I kinda just want to write this season out of my personal canon. This wasn't a bad episode, but it's gotten to where I'm so braced to cringe when I watch the show that I'm not even enjoying the good bits anymore, especially since the show seems determined to live down to pretty much every low expectation that I have. And, no, I don't know why SPN is getting to me so much worse on the race & gender stuff than most of the other things I watch. But it is.

Is that all I'm watching right now? I guess it is. Of course, I'm also re-watching LoM again from the beginning, so it's not as if I'm suffering for lack of entertainment.

So I'm up to 5x06 on NCIS (I need to write a post about it, because, despite certain issues with the show as a whole, I've enjoyed seasons 4/5 WAY better than I liked season 3), and you know what is cute as the dickens and pushing my fangirl buttons like whoa? McGee and Tony! I know there are quite a few NCIS fans out there on my flist, so does anyone know any good McGee/Tony h/c or friendship stories, or a good place to start looking for some? Abby/McGee would also be lovely. I'd take slash/ship with either of those pairs if you know of any good ones, but gen's what I'm really looking for.

We're up to the middle of season 3 now (I think we just finished off the third disc -- or maybe the fourth) and my interest in the show is starting to flag somewhat. It may just be the cumulative effect of having watched two and a half seasons at the rate of 2-4 episodes a day, but lately I'm feeling more annoyed with the show than squeeful about it.

... dammit. I've fallen for ANOTHER one. We started watching NCIS, and it took me a few episodes to get into it, but we're halfway through the first season now and I'm falling like a ton of bricks. They're all so adorable. Abby is the very definition of awesome, and Gibbs is precisely my kind of crotchety bastard, and his prickly-affectionate relationship with Tony and the rest of his weird little team makes me squee. Help!
